The Feldon Valley Collection 2026-27
In 2026, Spencer House Gallery is managing the creation and curation of a new original art collection for the enjoyment of guests and members at the prestigious Feldon Valley golf resort on the North Cotswold border.
The idea is that this multi-faceted venue becomes an ideal showplace for a rotating exhibition of the very best in regional art and a touchstone for art collectors and buyers who are keen to support the contemporary British art scene.
Displayed throughout Feldon Valley, each original Collection painting is curated by Gallery founder, Chris Woodcock, and available to purchase.
Bespoke commissions are also on offer, to adapt a piece which has caught your eye or to capture a scene or concept that is personal to you.

Award-winning landscape and urban painter, Mark Owen, has created the inaugural works in the Feldon Valley Collection. His large-scale oil paintings capture the dramatic beauty of towering tree canopies and sweeping tree-lined vistas.
Many of them are inspired by the wonderful landscape and golf course views at Feldon Valley, where he has become 'Artist in Residence' for the summer season.
His choice of unusual canvas formats — from ultra-wide to thin and tall — reflects the many perspectives encountered while exploring this beautiful rural landscape at the meeting point of four counties.

Framing can both complement the artwork and be unique to you, to suit your interior decor.
Chosen artworks may be wrapped, if required, and taken away on the day of purchase.
Payments can be made face-to-face or by online BACS transfer. We ship anywhere in the UK and across the world for an at-cost charge.
Artworks and commissions start at around £500. There is no fee is for arranging a commission.

ABOUT MARK OWEN
Mark Owen is an award-winning British visual artist.
Renowned for his rigorous landscape and urban paintings, he is recognised on the national plein air (outdoor) competitive art stage and famous for his avoidance of studio retouching.
He has carried off a string of winning places in competitions all over the country in the last three years.
Mark works primarily in oils and acrylics in diverse settings around the UK and Europe. He captures detail and visual signatures with clever nuances of light, weather, seasonality and architecture.
Alongside his painting practice, he is an experienced graphic designer and lecturer, working in many media.
His work has been exhibited in London and at various British galleries and cultural venues.
